Miriya Sterling was the Zentraedi’s fiercest warrior who led several missions against human forces until taking on human form so that she could infiltrate the SDF-1. After several confrontations with Max Sterling, Miriya sought revenge against the ace pilot only to fall in love with him instead. As ace pilot in the red VF-1J Veritech, Miriya sticks by Max's side through the war and helps rebuild Earth from the ashes left by Dolza's fleet.
