Yup, very true. I started out by touching up a cheap deluxe Bumblebee figure [a DOTM Bumblebee]. You'll be amazed by how much better a figure could look just with a few strokes of silver paint and some dry-brushing.

icic....then must go look for one cheaper model perhaps bumblebee too then try it out...if not got so many sifu can ask here including u.... :finger:

Thanks for the advice, bro. Yeah, the figs overall look quite accurate, especially Bulkhead.

I think I'll go ahead and buy a few TF Prime figs. But I'll skip deluxe Starscream and Voyager Optimus and Megatron. There's a voyager class Starscream confirmed, and possibly a leader class Optimus and Megatron. The smaller classes are okay, but out of scale with the deluxe ones.

I just hope I can still find some around here. TF Prime is quite popular, and the first wave has already been released a while now. I'll try to get the Hasbro versions [cheaper], but if not, I'll have to wait for the Takara versions with shiny paint and chrome [but more expensive.]

aiya...dun say advise lar....i just give my opinion since this is a nice series to collect too......if u get the hasbro wan....then u can go custom....if get takara then it is pretty much ready...only minor touch up i guess...hehehe.....btw, amcorp amll there the toy shop should still have stock.....try it out bro.... :finger:

Heheh, thanks for the compliment, but I'm far from sifu level la, bro. My most successful build to date is a Gundam MG Exia kit that I decaled and clear coated, and even that one had some missing decals. I screwed up while trying to apply those damn dry-transfer decals.

Still waiting for the monsoon season to finish before continuing on the blades.

I'm still experimenting on painting up TF's. Mostly it just involves touching up missing paint apps and correcting sloppy paint jobs.

Thanks, bro. I'll go scout around maybe next weekend when I'm free.
