I'll go for the R2 manufactured by Nikko, remote controlled and with DVD. projector function. At least i know this one won't have ridiculous repacks and repaints like from Hasbro.

I guess you have seen this before, Snake?

Which one? The one shown on Play forum? How much that gonna cost? :?

Can ask u Jedis/Siths for some opinion? :pai seh:
Which is better for Star Wars figurines?
Sideshow or Kotobukiya?
Only recently (Remember I very kampung) I saw Sideshow's 12" Leia as Boushh figurine. Thinking of getting... comments plz?

Ah..... here's a favourite question. it's basically Articulation VS sculpt. Sideshows' 12 inch is articulated.... it's a 12 inch action figure. Can be posed in variable poses.... somethings the poses is limited by the cloths. :p Kotobukiya is non articulated.... the sculpt looks better than sideshows. But i never collect any SW figures from either Sideshow nor koto.... So, i can give comments... just giving out details....   So, it's up 2 u 2 decide which one is the best.

Thnx Bro~ I was thinking abt the 'likeness' of the characters.
Kotobuniya ones definately look better. But like u say Sideshow ones can pose around. Guess I hold on for awhile and see if there are better ones coming out later this year.
Thnx again~ :Woo:

Overall, sideshow scores higher than kotobukiya in my opinion. Kotobukiya has very poor quality control sometimes... take an example the Princess Leia Koto ArtFx figure I bought last time... paint and finishings look like fake versions... and after that I never buy any more Kotobukiya figures... until recently the 30th anniversary Obiwan vs Gen Grievous caught my eye.

Sideshow 12 inch figures are probably the best SW collectible in the market so far.

Well as long dun get poisoned from SW. Collect those you reallly like. I recommend the Kotobukiya Obi-Wan and Grevious PVD statues. Sold separately but can be put together to form a fight scene.
